New to the restaurant this year are hand- breaded fried oysters, which are served either in a basket with fries or in a po boy. The nice-sized oysters were crispy and crunchy, and were excellent on the toasted French bread that was fully dressed with lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. This was
another winner for Wahoo’s. More selections include fried chicken and BLT wraps, chicken Caesar salad and taco salad and the popular Wahoo’s cheeseburger — a half-pound beef patty grilled and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. Again, all of the food served at Wahoo’s is made fresh and meant to be

Wahoo’s and its fun and welcoming atmosphere. And, with the new dessert nachos on the menu, that fun is even tastier. Indulge in a platter of house-made cinnamon crisps piled high with cheesecake filling, fresh pineapple, strawberries, blueberries and grapes, swirled with caramel and chocolate sauce and then topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with powder sugar. This is a new way to nacho, and while we suggest sharing, there is no rule that says you must, so dive right in.

Dogs on leashes are also welcome at Wahoo’s, Geissinger added.
Featuring great tasting food and refreshing drinks, Wahoo’s Poolside Bar & Grill is truly a hot spot for summertime dining. Wahoo’s opens daily at 11 a.m., closing at 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
