  Gourmet dinner with wine pairings at Palace
BILOXI — Foodies and wine enthusiasts will find plenty to talk about with the upcomingwinedinneratPalace Casino Resort. Taking place in Mignon’s Steaks & Seafood and featuring five courses paired with Jayson Wines by Pahlmeyer, the dinner is set for Thursday, Aug. 18, at 7 p.m.
The meal starts with goat
cheese toast with crispy prosciutto, tomato, pink peppercorn and whipped goat cheese. This is paired with a Jayson Sauvignon Blanc. The second course features she crab soup made of blue crab and fried shallot rings in a blonde roux. The luscious soup is served with Jayson Chardonnay.
The first entrée, lamb shank ravioli, is paired with Jayson Red Blend. And the second entrée,beeftenderloinwitha red wine chocolate reduction, Vichy baby carrots and fried potato, is enhanced by the Jayson Cabaret Sauvignon.
And for the final course, dessert, indulge in a dark chocolate teardrop —
chocolate sponge cake with mousse, Bavarian cream and raspberry. This offering is pairedwithPahlmeyerMerlot.
