“You might be one day away from your biggest blessing.”
Face of Healing Touch ADRIENNE MIKELL-STURDAVANT
As a mother, Adrienne Mikell-Sturdavant also owns three businesses, gardens, and hunts. “I decided to start this business because of the expansion of medical facilites and the need for additional medical staff in Mississippi,” she says of Healing Touch.
She loves to give students a chance at furthering their careers by having short term classes. “It brings me great satisfaction when students share with me how I’ve changed their lives and how they never thought they’d be able to get into the medical field.” The pandemic has definitely brought a spike in our enrollment and we have embraced it and continued to strive
for excellence with our training programs.
“Life is hard. So feel it and mourn what we’ve lost this season but don’t
quit,” she expresses as her philosophy. “Don’t walk away, give up or throw in the towel. Crying doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human.”
Mikell-Sturdavant moved to the Coast from Hattiesburg in 2008 because of the great opportunities for growth and development for entrepreneurs. “I like that the Mississippi Gulf Coast is such an inviting place.”
Her children are 18-year-old Colby and ten-year-old Kennedi Rose, who bring pure joy to her heart.
