Brick & Spoon brought a new kind of dining experience to the area with its daily breakfast, brunch and lunch menu; that’s seven days a week, not just a weekend brunch thing. Owners Kerri Paul and Britni Thompson say they’re pleased to offer a complete, high-quality Southern experience for those who want accessible, and upscale breakfast, brunch, and lunch dining.
“It’s completely sophisticated yet totally casual. Our menu features hearty breakfast and lunch fare paired with deliciously unique cocktails and built-your-own Bloody Marys,” Paul said. “Whether you want a meal and music, or just a place to enjoy a cup of coffee, you’ll find what you’re looking for here.”
Thompson added, “We’re your much-needed neighborhood stop for breakfast, brunch, and lunch whether you’re on a liquid diet or no diet at all!”
These female entrepreneurs brought Brick & Spoon’s two locations to the Coast because they wanted to spread the “Southern mojo.” Good food, good drinks, good entertainment all get together at Brick & Spoon every day.
With Executive Chef Joey Fontenot at the helm, Brick & Spoon wows diners with its Southern specialties including Shrimp & Grits, Killer Creole Omelet, beignets, Bananas Foster French Toast and Deviled on the Bayou appetizer. Wash down these delectable dishes with build-your-own Bloody Marys, mimosas, or a mimosa trio. Mimosa flavors include strawberry, wild berry, orange, pineapple, mango and peach.
Available outdoor seating and made-from-scratch brunch specialties set Brick & Spoon apart from other restaurants. “We’re one of a kind on the Coast as a restaurant because we specialize in brunch,” Thompson said.
The owners love to give back and support causes around the Coast that highlight the roles of females in the workplace and entrepreneurship. They’ve supported breast cancer awareness and the American Cancer Society as well as the Boss Brunch to provide resources to women interested in entrepreneurship.
