THE FASHION CARRIAGE & CARRIAGE CONSIGNMENT
1001 Howard Ave., Biloxi 228.239.5022 www.thefashioncarriage.com
Who or what inspired you to pursue your current career? My children inspired me to open the Fashion Carriage, the first mobile boutique on the Coast! I started the boutique after having my first back surgery in my mid- 30s, and I just had my third one two months ago. I am absolutely blessed to have the most amazing customers and family I could ask for, especially my husband, Greg, daughters Elisa and Lexi, my newly adopted work daughter, Allison, and my Aunt Chayo. I will celebrate six years in business this year, and four years in my brick and mortar store! We have grown so much, adding our upscale resale shop, Carriage Consignment, as well as our new mobile boutique bus.

   Advice I would give
to young female entrepreneurs:
Never let anyone tell you what you can and can’t do. Never stop dreaming and aiming to achieve your goals.
What moment from your life made the biggest impact on your career?
I had cancer in 2002. From that moment, I made the decision that life is too short to not do what makes me happy. I opened Divine Preschool Academy in 2003, still in operation, and kept pushing myself to try new things.
