Susan Kremer Jones is the executive director of
the Women’s Resource Center. She loves serving the community and helping parents and babies start out right.
The organization offers free pregnancy tests, ultrasound, prenatal and parenting classes. New and expectant parents are taught practical skills to prepare for their babies. They are given material resources to help lessen the financial burden such as diapers, wipes, formula, equipment, and clothing until their child is two years old.
“Every woman at the Women’s Resource Center has a passion for serving women and families who find themselves in an unexpected pregnancy or have little
to no resources,” Jones explains. “Whether the lack
of resources is financial, spiritual, educational or material in nature we strive to provide what they need in order to have healthy pregnancies, healthy babies and ultimately healthy families.”
Mothers are the core of who the Women’s Resource Center serves. “We want mothers to have the resources they need to raise their children and help to guide them on ways to support their family,” Jones says.
Women’s Resource Center is working on making sure the community that needs them knows what they do and the community that wants to support them knows how.
