As a physician the goal of helping others is embedded within Chelsea Grow, D.O. In addition to being a practicing neurologist, she founded Enhance Aesthetics with that goal in mind.
“Aesthetics allows me to apply my anatomical knowledge to achieve artistry and enhance one’s appearance which has a positive impact on their mental, physical and emotional well-being as well,” she said. “Helping others to look and feel better holistically is truly rewarding.”
Seeing the smile on patients’ faces when they feel good about their appearance is what she likes most. “It’s positive reinforcement and
truly gratifying to see the impact the aesthetic results have on them. You can actually see
their confidence grow throughout the aesthetic process. That is by far the most rewarding part of aesthetics,” she says.
Grow credits her parents, both teachers, for instilling the value of education in her from early on. “They taught me the value of hard work and the importance of education to be successful
in life,” she states. “The core values I learned from them allowed me to believe in myself and pursue a career path in medicine of which I would otherwise never have dreamt.”
Growing up on a farm in Pennsylvania, Grow had no idea her medical career would bring her to the Mississippi Coast in 2005. She enjoys living on
the water and boating and fishing with her sons, Shad, 14, and Sage, 10. “They are without a doubt my greatest gifts. They are what makes my heart beat,” she says.”
After her sons, her medical career in neurology is her greatest success. “I was the first in my family to become a physician and it has been the most rewarding career and more than I could ever have
imagined,” she says. “Being able to touch the lives of so many and being entrusted by my patients to care for them and their loved ones has been a gift for which I will always be thankful.”
